4/11/2010 - Leaving this Wednesday!
Hey, Amanda and I are a few days away from going to Peru! We are leaving from Washington, DC this Wednesday. Please pray for us that we can be used by God to reach the lost, encourage other believers, and just be completely open to what God has in store. Love ya! -Greg and Amanda
4/11/2010 - Blown Away
Wow! You all have been such a blessing to Amanda and me! We are a few dollars short of our $3,000 goal! God is always faithful and will always provide!
3/26/2010 - Funds Arriving!
Amanda and I are so thankful for the returned envelopes with support donations. We are so excited about the reality of the trip, and how God is going to use us in Peru. Our prayer is that God can work in our hearts to give us the compassion, patience, flexibility, drive, and LOVE so we can used by Him to make an impact on tons of lives on this trip.
3/14/2010 - Preparing for Big Things
Today we met with the rest of the Peru team to touch base about the trip. Amanda and I are so excited to be used by God this summer in South America. Things are coming together, and this trip is going to come faster than we know it! There are a lot of things we have to do, including printing off our support letters and sending them out.
God is also preparing Amanda and I for this trip every day spiritually. We are praying that we can be faithful in the little things that God entrusts us with every day to prepare us for the big things He has in store.
3/11/2010 - Support Letters
We just finished our final draft of support letters. I always feel uneasy about asking people for money, especially now that the economy is so bad. It is a very humbling thing to do, even though I know most people are really going to be happy to support our outreach. Amanda and I are also learning to trust God completely, and we know He is always faithful.

3/9/2010 - The Harvest is Ripe
I'm currently reading through the book of Matthew for my morning devotions, and today I read Jesus say "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." From talking with those who have been to Peru before, the people there are so open and hungry for the truth and life of Jesus. When they pass out Bibles they get MOBBED by people who just want a Bible of their own. It's so humbling to be able to follow Christ's calling and work the very ripe harvest of Peru.
